Oxidizing Emulsion 3.5%

The oxidizing emulsion is specially designed for mixing with such cosmetic products:

• Author's eyebrow tinting system «Smart Brow Tinting System»
• ÉLAN eyebrow gel tint
• Ultramarine powder for bleaching eyebrows
• Carbon powder for bleaching eyebrows

Expiration date: 24 months
Period after opening (PAO): 3 months

STAGES OF EYEBROW TINTING

1) Preparation for the tinting procedure 

Use ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE to degrease the hairs and skin before eyebrow tinting or shaping procedures. Remove any remains with a cotton pad moistened with water.

2) Brow shaping

Build the shape of the eyebrows using any convenient product.

3) Preparation of the tinting mixture

Mix the author's eyebrow tinting system «SBTS» or ÉLAN eyebrow gel tint with Oxidizing emulsion 3.5% in a 1:1 ratio in a non-metallic container. 

If you want to additionally deepen and saturate the colours of the main palette of the «SBTS» eyebrow tinting system or create a new shade, use the corresponding «Eyebrow Tint Color Booster 2.0» booster concentrate according to the mixing ratio below:

Eyebrow tint (49%) + oxidizing emulsion (49%) + booster concentrate (2%) = tinting mixture (100%)

4) Eyebrow tinting 

Apply the tinting mixture to the eyebrows according to the built-up shape. Depending on the desired result, leave the author's eyebrow tinting system «SBTS» for 5-10 minutes, and the ÉLAN eyebrow gel tint for 5-15 minutes. When the specified time is up, wash off the remaining tinting mixture with a cotton pad moistened with water. If the tinting mixture goes beyond the expected shape, we recommend removing the excess with a cotton swab moistened with ÉLAN REMOVER.

5) Completing the eyebrow tinting procedure

To fix the result, apply ÉLAN COLOUR FIX to the eyebrows.

PRECAUTIONS

The brow tint and booster concentrate contain phenylenediamines, phenylenediamines (toluene diamines), resorcinol.  

Perform an allergy test 48 hours before use: mix 2 drops of the tint and the oxidizing emulsion and apply this mixture to a small area of the skin of the elbow bend. If there is no redness, swelling, or irritation on the skin, you should proceed with the tinting. 

For professional use only. Hair dyes can cause severe allergic reactions. Read and follow the instructions for use. This product is not intended for use by persons under the age of 16. Temporary tattooing with black henna may increase the risk of allergies. 

Do not use the tint if you:

– have a rash on your face or a sensitive, irritated, or damaged scalp;

– have had any reaction after hair colouring;

– had a reaction to a temporary ‘black henna’ tattoo in the past.

Wear protective gloves. Do not use metal objects when working with the product. Not for lash tinting. For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. Rinse thoroughly after application. In case of an allergic reaction, be sure to consult a dermatologist.

STAGES OF EYEBROW BLEACHING

1. Mix the Oxidizing emulsion 3.5% TM ÉLAN professional line with carbon or ultramarine powder for eyebrow bleaching in a ratio of 2:1 (two parts of the oxidizing emulsion and one part of the powder).
2. First, apply the bleaching mixture to the thicker hairs, and then use a brush to spread it over the entire surface of the eyebrows. 
3. Depending on the desired result and the thickness of the hairs, leave the mixture on the eyebrows for 3-15 minutes.
4. When the desired result is achieved, remove the bleaching mixture with a cotton pad moistened with water. 
5. If you want to get an even lighter shade, repeat the procedure.
6. To complete the chemical reaction, apply ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE to the eyebrows and remove the foam with a damp cotton pad.
7. To fix the result, apply «COLOUR FIX» fixing fluid, which contains keratin and sunflower seed oil, to the eyebrow hairs.

If necessary, tone or tint your eyebrows.

Important: after the eyebrow hairs are bleached, it is not recommended to carry out the standard procedure of eyebrow tinting. If you use eyebrow dye and oxidant in a 1:1 ratio, the eyebrow hairs will turn black.

Storage conditions: store in a dry place out of the reach of children at a temperature between +5°C and +25°C. Avoid direct sunlight.
