What makes the HoneyLami system unique?

Product 1 — the first step in the lash and brow lamination procedure, which helps prepare the hairs for shaping. Honey extract helps with hydration and elasticity, giving the hairs a smoother and shinier look. Marula and prickly pear oils help maintain softness and a well-groomed appearance.

Product 2 — the second step in the lash and brow lamination procedure, which helps lock in the new shape and achieve a visibly thicker and well-groomed look. Phytosqualane helps maintain comfort during the procedure, while jojoba oil provides care for the hairs.

Product 3 — the third, final step in the lash and brow lamination procedure. This product gently cares for the hairs, maintaining their elasticity, softness, and shine. The formula with honey extract and an amino acid complex helps maintain moisture balance in the hairs and gives the appearance of silky lashes and brows.

HONEYFIX — a professional fixing powder-glue, designed for use during the lash lamination procedure. Its fine texture dissolves easily and provides reliable fixation of the lash hairs on silicone rollers.

BROW LAMINATION PROCEDURE STAGES

1) Analyze the eyebrow hair condition of a client

Specify the processing time of the lamination solutions according to the instructions following below:
1-st type: the eyebrow hairs are thick – processing time is from 5 minutes;
2-nd type: the eyebrow hairs are of the medium thickness – processing time is from 3 minutes;
3-rd type: the eyebrow hairs are thin – processing time is from 2 minutes.

The processing time of Step 3 is 5 minutes for all hair types.

NOTE! The maximum processing time of Step 1 and Step 2 is 15 minutes.

NOTE! The room air temperature influences directly the working speed of Step 1 and Step 2. The higher the temperature, the less the reaction time.

2) Prepare the eyebrows for the lamination procedure

Use ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE for the hair and skin cleansing before the eyebrow lamination procedure. Remove foam with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

3) Create the eyebrow shape (Step 1)

NOTE! If a client has the thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply a thin layer of the argan oil cream by ТМ ELAN professional line to the eyebrows and a thicker layer – to the skin around the eyebrows.

1. Apply Step 1 to the eyebrows. The processing time is 2–15 minutes.

NOTE! The processing time should not exceed the maximum processing time.

2. When the processing time is finished, remove any residue of the solution using a cotton pad, moistened with water.

NOTE! It is important to take into consideration the eyebrow hair growth direction when creating the eyebrow shape. The eyebrow shape changes should be smooth in order to avoid folding of the hairs.

4) Fix the eyebrow hair direction (Step 2)

NOTE! If a client has the thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply a thin layer of the argan oil cream by ТМ ELAN professional line to the eyebrows and a thicker layer – to the skin around the eyebrows.

1. Apply and spread Step 2 to the eyebrows setting the hairs carefully in the right direction. The processing time is 6–15 minutes.

NOTE! The processing time at the IV-th stage (Step 2) should be equal to the processing time at the III-rd stage of creating the eyebrow shape (Step 1), but no less than 6 minutes.

2. When the processing time is finished, remove any residue of the solution using a cotton pad, moistened with water, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is PLANNED.

3. When the processing time is finished, remove any residue using cotton pad, moistened with ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE to stop the chemical reaction, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is NOT PLANNED. Remove foam with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

5) Eyebrow hair care (Step 3)

1. Apply and spread Step 3 to the eyedrows. The processing time is 5 minutes.

2. When the processing time is finished, do not remove the excess of the solution with a cotton pad, moistened with water, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is NOT PLANNED.

3. When the processing time is finished, remove the excess of the solution with a cotton pad, moistened with ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE to stop
the chemical reaction, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is PLANNED. Remove foam with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

4. Apply the tinting mixture to the eyebrows right after using ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE.

NOTE! It is necessary to take into consideration that the eyebrow hair colour is supposed to be brighter and appear faster on the hairs, when the tinting procedure is performed.

5. Use ELAN COLOUR FIX for the better results. Do this step, when the eyebrow tinting procedure is finished as well.

NOTE! The eyebrow shaping must be performed only when the eyebrow lamination procedure is finished. It is highly recommended to use the eyebrow tweezers in order to avoid serious skin damage.

LASH LIFT PROCEDURE STAGES

1) Analyze the eyelash hair condition of a client

Specify the processing time of the lash lift solutions according to the instructions following below:
1-st type: the eyelash hairs are thick or straight – processing time is from 6 minutes;
2-nd type: the eyelash hairs are of the medium thickness or thin – processing time is from 3–6 minutes. The processing time of Multivitor is 5 minutes for all hair types.

NOTE! The maximum processing time of Step 1 and Step 2 is 15 minutes.

NOTE! The room air temperature influences directly the working speed of Step 1 and Step 2. The higher the temperature, the less the reaction time.

2) Prepare the eyelashes for the lash lift procedure

1. Use ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE for the hair and skin cleansing before the lash lift procedure. Remove foam with a cotton pad, moistened with water.

2. Fix ELAN silicone eye pads on the lower eyelid to completely cover the lower eyelashes.

3) Create the eyelash curl (Step 1)

1. Apply Step 1 to the clean dry eyelashes ≈1 mm away from the roots. The processing time is 3–15 minutes.

NOTE! The processing time should not exceed the maximum processing time.

NOTE! Avoid leaving the solution on the eyelash tips for too long to prevent excessive curling, especially when using round-shaped silicone pads.

2. When the processing time is finished, remove any residue of the solution using a dry cotton bud first, then use a cotton bud moistened with water.

4) Fix the eyelash hair direction (Step 2)

1. Mix the fixing powder glue with Step 2 in a ratio of 3–5:1 (three to five parts of the powder glue and one part of Step 2). Stir thoroughly until a homogeneous, sticky consistency is achieved.

2. Fix an appropriately sized silicone pad to the upper eyelid.

3. Apply the prepared mixture to the silicone pad, then spread and fix the lashes using any convenient technique. The processing time is 6–15 minutes.

NOTE! The processing time at the IV-th stage (Step 2) should be equal to the processing time at the III-rd stage of creating the eyelash curl (Step 1), but no less than 6 minutes.

5) Tint the eyelashes

1. Mix the eyelash tint with the oxidant in a ratio 1:1 in a non-metallic bowl.

2. Apply the tinting mixture to the entire eyelash area over the fixing mixture. The processing time is 5 minutes (or longer depending on the desired eyelash colour intensity).

3. When the processing time is finished, remove any residue of fixing and tinting mixtures using a cotton bud, moistened with water.

6) Eyelash hair care (Step 3)

1. Apply Step 3 to the entire eyelash area. The processing time is 5 minutes. Do not rinse!

BROW LAMINATION AND LASH LIFT POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

It is not recommended to perform the henna eyebrow tinting and the eyebrow bleaching because the result can be highly unpredictable. It is highly recommended to avoid saunas, solariums and any mechanical damage of the created eyebrow shape or eyelash curl (sleeping face down on the pillow), reduce the contact of the eyebrows and eyelashes with water as well as do not brush the eyebrows and eyelashes for 24 hours after the procedure. It is highly recommended to avoid using the aggressive cosmetic products and undergoing the aggressive cosmetic procedures (scrubs, face peels, alcohol based lotions, laser treatments) for 48 hours after the eyebrow lamination and lash lift procedure.

BROW LAMINATION AND LASH LIFT PROCEDURE RESTRICTIONS

The absolute restrictions to the brow lamination and lash lift procedure are: an individual sensitivity to the solution ingredients, any skin damages in the eyebrow or eye area, redness, a facial rash of any etiology as well as visiting a solarium, laser and photofacial treatments for 24 hours before the procedure.

WARNING

It is necessary to conduct the allergy skin test before use: apply 2 drops of each solution to the small area of the inner elbow skin

48 hours before use. If there is no redness, inflammation or rash, begin the brow lamination or lash lift procedure.

Step 1 contains thioglycolate and ammonia. Step 2 contains hydrogen peroxide. The products can cause an allergic reaction. For professional use only. Follow the instructions. It is necessary to conduct the allergy skin test before use. Do not use the products in case of an individual sensitivity to the ingredients. For external use only. Wear suitable gloves.
