How do the components of KeraVEG Lash Lift System work?

1. KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1:
– it is designed for the FIRST stage of the lash lift procedure;
– it softens the eyelash hairs;
– it makes the eyelash hairs more elastic and malleable, thus they easily take a new shape;
– the care complex based on vegan protein, jojoba oil and threhalose helps to protect the eyelashes during the procedure and prevent hairs’ dehydration and fragility.

2. KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2:
– it is designed for the SECOND stage of the lash lift and/or brow lamination procedures;
– it fixes a newly-created shape and hair direction;
– it can be used as an independent product at this stage (lash lift without tinting and/or brow lamination), and together with KeraTint Lash Tint, which allows combining lash lift and tinting, reduces the overall procedure time;
– vegan protein and glycerin provide conditioning effects.

3. KeraTint Lash Tint:
– it can be used during the SECOND stage of the lash lift procedure (by preliminary mixing with KeraBoost Step 2), and for independent tinting (without lifting);
– it provides quick and intensive lash tinting;
– it allows obtaining excellent results due to the unique opportunity to combine lash lift and tinting;
– vegan protein and sunflower seed extract promote extra eyelash care during the procedure.

4. KeraCare Lash and Brow Caring Serum Step 3:
– it is designed for the THIRD stage of the lash lift and/or brow lamination procedures;
– it provides intensive care for the eyelashes and eyebrows, nourishes and moisturises the hairs due to protein complex (vegan and wheat);
– ceramides promote hair straightening and water-lipid balance restoration;
– trehalose and jojoba oil offer protective and antioxidant effects;
– it can be used to minimise eyebrow hair darkening before the tinting procedure.

LASH LIFT PROCEDURE STEPS

1) Analyse the eyelash hair condition of a client

Specify the processing time and type of the solution – KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1 according to the instructions below:

1^st type:  the eyelash hairs are thick and straight, not having undergone chemical procedures earlier (eyelash lifting, tinting or bleaching procedures) ‒ KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1, processing time is 8‒10 minutes;

2^nd type: the eyelash hairs are of medium thickness or thin, not having undergone chemical procedures earlier (eyelash lifting, tinting or bleaching procedures) ‒ KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1, processing time is 5–7 minutes;

NOTE! The maximum processing time of nKeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1 is 10 minutes.

NOTE! The room air temperature directly influences the working speed of the solution. The higher the temperature, the less the reaction time.

The processing time of KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 is 7 minutes and does not depend on the hair condition of a client and the processing time of KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1.

2) Prepare the eyelashes for the lash lift procedure

2.1 Use «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE» for eyelash hair cleansing before the lash lifting procedure. Remove the foam using a cotton pad moistened with water.

2.2 Fix a silicone pad of the appropriate size on the upper eyelid.

2.3 Spread and fix the eyelashes on the silicone pad using the fixing gel by TM ELAN professional line and an applicator.

3) Create the eyelash curl – KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1

3.1 Apply KeraSoft Step 1 to the area of curl forming. The processing time is 5‒10 minutes.

NOTE! Processing time and solution type (KeraSoft Lash Lifting Serum Step 1) should comply with that indicated for the selected eyelash hair type.

3.2 Remove the excess solution with a dry make-up brush in the eyelash hair growth direction first, then use a microbrush or a cotton pad moistened with water. 

4) Fix the eyelash hair direction – KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2

4.1 Fix the eyelash hair direction without tinting

4.1.1. Apply a thick layer of KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 to the entire eyelash area. The processing time is 7 minutes.

4.1.2 Remove the excess solution with a dry make-up brush in the eyelash hair growth direction first, then with a microbrush or a cotton pad moistened with water or «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE». If using «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE», remove the foam using a cotton pad moistened with water.

4.2 Fix the eyelash hair direction with tinting on the pad – KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 + KeraTint Lash Tint

4.2.1 Mix KeraTint Lash Tint and KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 in the ratio 1:2 in a non-metallic bowl.

NOTE! The product colour in the bottle can vary from light brown to black as a result of the product’s contact with air after the package opening. This is normal for the ingredients in the tint composition and does not influence the lash tinting result.

4.2.2 Apply a thick layer of the mixture to the entire eyelash area. The processing time is 7 minutes.

4.2.3 Remove the excess solution with a dry make-up brush in the eyelash hair growth direction first, then with a microbrush or a cotton pad moistened with water or «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE». If using «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE», remove the foam using a cotton pad moistened with water.

4.2.4 Use ELAN COLOUR FIX to secure the obtained result.

5) Eyelash hair care – KeraCare Lash and Brow Caring Serum Step 3

5.1 After using KeraBoost Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2 or the mixture of KeraTint Lash Tint + Lash and Brow Fixing Serum Step 2, apply a small amount of KeraCare Lash and Brow Caring Serum Step 3 to the cleansed eyelashes and spread evenly. Leave until fully absorbed. Do not rinse off.

LASH LIFT POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

! It is highly recommended to avoid saunas, solariums and any mechanical damage to the created eyelash curl (e.g. sleeping face down on the pillow), do not brush the eyelashes for 24 hours after the procedure.

! It is highly recommended to avoid using aggressive cosmetic products and undergoing aggressive cosmetic procedures (scrubs, face peels, alcohol-based lotions, laser treatments) for 48 hours after the procedure.

LASH LIFT PROCEDURE CONTRAINDICATIONS

The absolute restrictions to the lash lift procedure are as follows: an individual sensitivity to the solution ingredients, any skin damage in the eye area, redness, a facial rash of any aetiology, allergic reactions, visiting a solarium or undergoing laser treatments for 24 hours before the procedure.

WARNING

KeraSoft contains thioglycolate and ammonia, KeraBoost contains hydrogen peroxide, KeraTint contains phenylenediamine, phenylenediamine (toluoldiamines), resorcinol. Products can cause allergic reactions. It is necessary to do the allergy skin test before use: apply 2 drops of each solution to a small area of inner elbow skin 48 hours before use. If there is no redness, inflammation or rash, you can perform the procedure.

– you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp;

– you have ever experienced any reaction after colouring your hair or eyelashes;

– you have experienced a reaction to a temporary «black henna» tattoo in the past.
