EYEBROW FLEXING PROCEDURE STAGES
1) Diagnosing the condition of the client's eyebrow hairs and determining the exposure time of the flexing products according to the points below:

1-st group: the eyebrow hairs are coarse, tough and dense, not having undergone chemical procedures earlier (tinting, bleaching procedures) — processing time is 5-8 minutes for Serum 1 and no less than 6-8 minutes for Serum 2;

2-nd group: the eyebrow hairs are of the medium thickness, natural, healthy or having undergone chemical procedures earlier (tinting, bleaching procedures) — processing time is 3-5 minutes for Serum 1 and 6-8 minutes for Serum 2;

The processing time of Multivitor is 5 minutes for all hairs types.

NOTE! The maximum processing time of Serum 1 and Serum 2 is 15 minutes.

NOTE! The work of Serum 1 and Serum 2 depends directly on the room air temperature. The higher the temperature, the less the reaction time.

2) Preparing the eyebrows for the flexing procedure

Use «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0» for the hairs and skin cleansing before the eyebrow flexing procedure. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

3) Creating the eyebrow shape (Serum 1)

NOTE! If a client has thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply TM ÉLAN professional line argan oil cream on the eyebrows (thin layer) and on the skin around the eyebrows (thick layer).

1. Apply Serum 1 on the eyebrows. The exposure time is 3-8 minutes.

NOTE! The maximum processing time should not exceed the processing time for the selected eyebrow hairs type.

2. When the processing time is finished, remove the excess of the solution with a cotton pad moistened with water.

NOTE! It is important to take into consideration the eyebrow hairs growth direction when creating the eyebrow shape. The eyebrow shape changes should be smooth in order to avoid folding of the hairs.

4) Fixing the eyebrow hairs direction (Serum 2)

NOTE! If a client has thin and sensitive skin, it is necessary to apply TM ÉLAN professional line argan oil cream on the eyebrows (thin layer) and on the skin around the eyebrows (thick layer).

1. Apply Serum 2 to the eyebrows and distribute it over the entire surface of the hairs, gently spreading them in the desired direction. The exposure time is 6-8 minutes.

NOTE! The exposure time at the IV stage (Serum 2) should be equal to the exposure time at the III stage of eyebrow shaping (Serum 1), but not less than 6 minutes.

2. After the exposure time, remove the excess of the solution with a cotton pad moistened with water if you plan to carry out the eyebrow tinting procedure after the flexing procedure.

3. After the exposure time, remove any residue with a cotton pad moistened with «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0» to complete the chemical reaction, if the eyebrow tinting procedure is not planned after the flexing procedure. Rinse off the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

5) Eyebrow hairs care (Multivitor)

1. Apply Multivitor to the eyebrows and distribute it over the entire surface of the hairs. Exposure time: 5 minutes.

2. After the exposure time, remove the product residues with a cotton pad moistened with water, if you do not plan to carry out the eyebrow tinting procedure after the flexing procedure.

3. After the exposure time, remove the remnants with a cotton pad moistened with «ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE 2.0» to complete the chemical reaction if you plan to apply eyebrow tint after the flexing procedure. Rinse off the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

4. Apply the tinting mixture to the eyebrows immediately after applying ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE.

NOTE! It is necessary to take into consideration that the eyebrow hairs colour will be brighter and appear faster.

5. To fix the result, in particular, after the eyebrow tinting procedure, apply ÉLAN professional line «COLOUR FIX 2.0» Colour Fixing Fluid to the eyebrows.

NOTE! The eyebrow shaping is performed only when the eyebrow lamination procedure is finished. It is highly recommended to use the eyebrow tweezers in order to reduce skin damage.

LASH FLEXING PROCEDURE STAGES

1) Diagnosing of the client's lash hairs and determination of the exposure time of the flexing products according to the points listed below:

1-st group: the lash hairs are thick or straight — processing time is 6-10 minutes for Serum 1 and no less than 6 minutes for Serum 2;

2-nd group: the lash hairs are of the medium thickness or thin — processing time is 3-6 minutes for Serum 1 and no less than 6 minutes for Serum 2;

The processing time of Multivitor is 5 minutes for all hairs types.

NOTE! The maximum processing time of Serum 1 and Serum 2 is 15 minutes.

NOTE! The activity of Serum 1 and Serum 2 depends directly on the room air temperature. The higher the temperature, the less the reaction time.

2) Preparing the lashes for the flexing procedure

1. Use ÉLAN DETOX-MOUSSE to cleanse the hairs before the lash flexing procedure. Remove the foam with a cotton pad moistened with water.

2. Fix the silicone pad of the required size on the upper eyelid.

3. Spread and fix the lashes on the pad with TM ÉLAN professional line fixing gel and an applicator.

3) Creating the lash curl (Serum 1)

1. Apply Serum 1 to the area of the lash curve. The exposure time is 3-10 minutes.

NOTE! The maximum processing time should not exceed the processing time for the selected lash hairs type.

2. After the exposure time has expired, remove the excess of the solution with a dry brush in the direction of lash growth.

4) Fixing the lash hairs direction (Serum 2)

1. Apply Serum 2 to the entire lash area in a thick layer. The exposure time is 6-10 minutes.

NOTE! The processing time at the IV stage (Serum 2) should be equal to the processing time at the III stage of creating the lash curl (Serum 1), but no less than 6 minutes.

After the exposure time, remove the remnants of the product with a dry brush in the direction of lash growth.

5) Lash hairs care (Multivitor)

1. Apply Multivitor to the entire lash area. Exposure time: 5 minutes.

2. After exposure time, remove the remnants of the product and fixing gel with a cotton pad moistened with water.

NOTE! In order to achieve the most impressive effect and the visible result, ÉLAN professional line brand technologists recommend performing the lash tinting procedure, when the flexing procedure is finished.

EYEBROW AND LASH POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

! It is not recommended to perform the henna eyebrow tinting and the eyebrow bleaching because the result can be highly unpredictable: the hairs structure can be damaged (dry and dull hairs), which can cause hair fragility and loss.

! It is highly recommended to avoid saunas, solariums and any mechanical damage of the created eyebrow shape or lash curl (sleeping face down on the pillow), reduce the contact of the eyebrows and lashes with water as well as do not brush the eyebrows and lashes for 24 hours after the flexing procedure.

! It is highly recommended to avoid using the aggressive cosmetic products and undergoing the aggressive cosmetic procedures (scrubs, face peels, alcohol based lotions, laser treatments) for 48 hours after the eyebrow or lash flexing procedure.

RESTRICTIONS ON THE PROCEDURE OF BROW AND LASH FLEXING

Absolute restrictions for the eyebrow and lash flexing procedure: individual sensitivity to the components in the products, any skin damage in the eyebrow and eye area, redness, rashes of any etiology, as well as visiting the solarium, laser and photo procedures 24 hours before the procedure.

PRECAUTIONS

Before use, perform an allergy test: apply 2 drops of each product to a small area of the skin of the elbow bend 48 hours before use. If there is no redness, swelling or irritation on the skin, you can start the flexing procedure.

Serum 1 contains thioglycolate. Serum 2 contains hydrogen peroxide. The products may cause an allergic reaction. Wear protective gloves. Do not use metal objects when handling the products. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with water. In case of an allergic reaction, consult a dermatologist.
