How Step 1 works:

– ammonium hydroxide, included in the formula, facilitates the easy penetration of the components into the eyelashes. By acting on the disulfide bonds, it effectively remodels them, making the eyelashes more manageable and helping to achieve the desired eyelash curl (depending on the chosen shape of the silicone pad);

– the solution is convenient and economical to use, with a soft texture, thanks to special ingredients;

– the caring complex, based on moisturizing ingredients like keratin and collagen, helps retain the necessary moisture, prevents dehydration and breakage, and adds density and volume to the eyelash line.

How Step 2 works:

– restores the disulfide bonds, adding flexibility and resilience to the eyelash hairs;

– fixes the desired shape;

– restores the natural pH of the eyelashes;

– includes a caring complex based on cationic agents and wetting agents, which provide conditioning effects and enhance shine.

NOTE! The presence of a sulfurous odor in Step 1 and Step 2 is normal.

Expiration date: 24 months.
Period after opening (PAO): 2 months.

LASH LIFTING PROCEDURE STAGES

1) Analyse the eyelash hair condition of a client 

Specify the processing time of the lash lifting solutions according to the instructions below:

‐ 1st type: the eyelash hairs are thick or straight: processing time is 12–15 minutes;

‐ 2nd type: the eyelash hairs are of medium thickness or thin: processing time is 6–12 minutes.

2) Prepare the eyelashes for the lifting procedure

1. Check the eyelash hair condition and structure in order to specify the processing time properly.
2. Use ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE for the hair degreasing before the lash lifting procedure.
3. Fix a silicone pad of the appropriate size onto the upper eyelid.
4. Spread and fix the eyelashes onto the silicone pad using a fixing gel and an applicator.

3) Create the eyelash curl (Step 1)

1. Follow Step 1 in applying to the eyelash curl area. The processing time is 6–15 minutes.
2. When the processing time comes to an end, remove the excess solution using a dry make-up brush, moving in the eyelash hair growth direction.

NOTE! The maximum processing time should not exceed the processing time for the selected eyelash hair type.

4) Fix the eyelash hair direction (Step 2)

1. Follow Step 2 in applying to the eyelash curl area for which Step 1 was previously used.

NOTE! The amount of the solution used at the IV-th stage of the lash lifting procedure should be equal to the amount of solution used at the ІІІ-rd stage of creating the eyelash curl.  

NOTE! The processing time at the IV-th stage should be equal to the processing time at the ІІІ-rd stage of creating the eyelash curl. Reducing the processing time is not permitted.

2. When the processing time comes to an end, remove the excess solution and the fixing gel using a cotton pad moistened with water.

NOTE! In order to achieve the most impressive effect and a clearly visible result, ELAN professional line brand technologists recommend performing the lash tinting procedure once the lifting procedure is finished.

3. Apply ELAN DETOX-MOUSSE to the eyelashes to stop the chemical reaction. Remove foam using a cotton pad moistened with water. Undertake this step when the lash tinting procedure is also finished.  
4. Use ELAN COLOUR FIX for best results.

LASH LIFTING POST-PROCEDURE RECOMMENDATIONS

! It is highly recommended to avoid saunas, solariums and any mechanical damage of the created eyelash curl (e.g. sleeping face down on the pillow), whilst it is also advised to refrain from using mascara for 24 hours after the lash lifting procedure. 

! It is highly recommended to avoid using aggressive cosmetic products for 48 hours after the lash lifting procedure.
